Alex Isard

Alex uses her analytical skills to help solve problems in the Energy and Public Policy practices, generally focussing on work in the climate change and decarbonisation space.

She has experience undertaking both qualitative and quantitative analysis in all of our six practices, and has advised a variety of public and private sector clients. This has included building models to fund low-carbon fuels, compare the costs of decarbonising heat, and add carbon capture to a major power plant, as well as qualitatively analysing potential changes to the UK ETS.

She is registered as an Approved Researcher at the ONS, and before Frontier Economics, Alex completed an MPhil at the University of Oxford and a BSc at the University of Bristol. Outside of work she has survived a triathlon and recently completed a marathon for Prostate Cancer UK.
