Dario van der Linden

Dario uses his understanding of economics to provide invaluable insights across a range of important economic, regulatory and strategic issues for public and private sector clients.

He has worked on projects across multiple practice areas at Frontier, involving work in the Public Policy, Strategy, Energy and Competition practices. Examples of his work include modelling the impact of carbon prices on the global competitiveness of the UK steel sector and advising on various merger cases before both established and newly formed competition authorities.

More recently, he has used his quantitative skillset and knowledge of various programming languages to develop an agent-based model of the market for heating systems and understand the barriers to demand for low-carbon heating technologies.

Dario holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from the University of Manchester. He is also registered as an Approved Researcher at the ONS.
